Terms & Conditions

Emergency Planning Solutions Courses

Definitions

  • ‘Confirmed booking’ means the firm agreement between Emergency Planning Solutions (EPS) and the client for attendance at an event on a specified date.
  • A ‘reservation’ means a booking that must be changed to a confirmed booking.  Reservations will be held for up to 7 days (including weekends) while course places remain available.  EPS reserves the right to reduce the reservation period if necessary and will advise clients appropriately.

Booking Form

  • Booking forms or email requests for bookings should only be submitted when they have been authorised for payment.  All booking emails or online registrations will be assumed to have the appropriate authorisation for payment.
  • Once a booking form has been accepted by EPS, the organisation making the booking becomes liable for the relevant course fee, administration or cancellation charge.
  • Confirmation of your booking(s) will be sent to you once we accept your complete booking form, providing places are available on your chosen course.
  • EPS reserves the right to run courses at a different venue to the one specified, when necessary.  If this is the case we will inform you as soon as possible and provide you with necessary relevant information.

Fees and Payment

  • Fees are payable within 30 calendar days of the invoice.
  • EPS reserve the right to alter prices from those published.
  • Invoices can be issued on request for advanced payment purposes if required.
  • Payment of course fees is currently accepted by cheques made payable to ‘Emergency Planning Solutions Ltd’ or by BACS.
  • Receipts will only be issued on request.

Cancellation charges

  • EPS reserves the right to cancel, postpone or otherwise alter the content or date of an event without notice.  In such circumstances, EPS may, at its own discretion, return any payment received without penalty of cancellation charge.
  • Cancellation charges will apply when a suitable substitution is not made at the time of cancellation.  Current charges are:

    Notice of Cancellation

    Percentage of Course fee charged

    29 days or more

    14 – 28 days

    Less than 14 days

    25%

    50%

    100%

(Weekends are included in the above calculations.)

If a delegate fails to attend a course (with no substitution or transfer having been made) this will be deemed as a cancellation and will incur a 100% fee.

Substitutions

  • Substitutions made less than 21 days before the original course date will incur a charge of £40 per delegate.
  • All requests for substitutions must be submitted in writing, otherwise the booking will be deemed a cancellation and incur the relevant cancellation charges.
  • EPS may, at its own discretion, waive the substitution charge.

Data Protection

  • EPS does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to any other organisation or individual.  Your details will be added to the EPS database for purposes of processing your booking and course administration.  EPS may also use your information for marketing courses and promoting EPS.
  • If you do not wish to receive any further information from EPS by post, telephone or email, please contact us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

EPS Client's Testimonials
